Refrigerator Food Odors and Mold

Refrigerator Repair Presents: Refrigerator Food Odors and Mold Have you ever opened your refrigerator and smelled a foul odor? Maybe you have tasted some food that didn’t quite taste right. Odors in the refrigerator do not occur by themselves. They can occur from storing foods in unsealed containers. Refrigerator odor can also occur from food spillage and leaving rotten and spoiled in the refrigerator. Sometimes new refrigerators can have a plastic smell, this smell usually goes away within a few days.  Here are some tips to help remove refrigerator odor:  1. Put a box of baking in the refrigerator and in the freezer. You should replace it every 1-2 months. Depending of the size of your refrigerator. If you have a larger refrigerator like a GE monogram or a subzero you should replace it monthly.  2. Another suggestion is to place a few teaspoons of vanilla extract in a small dish and sit it in your refrigerator. Do not place vanilla extract in the freezer because it will only
